Some easy guidelines to follow so you don't get yourself shank'd.
-These can be changed at any time. If you have a problem with the rules, please talk to me (Shelia)-
1. Don't post a question/topic without looking at the first two pages of the board first.
Chances are, you'll find what you're looking for if you search a little. It reduces clutter, and keeps the board looking clean. There's also a search function in the top toolbar.
2. Be polite. Try to avoid flaming and unnecessary cursing.
No "MY GAME IS BETTER THAN YOUR GAME" "MY BUILD IS BETTER THAN YOUR BUILD" or "MY CONSOLE IS BETTER THAN YOUR CONSOLE" unless it's a legitimate and constructive debate.
3. If you have a problem with another member, please tell an Admin or Moderator.
I want to avoid drama here, so please don't complain to other members or make a post about your problem. I'd rather you just contact me or another mod directly.

4. Don't beg. It's obnoxious.
As far as picking moderators goes, I usually pick people that the guild can generally trust. Begging for positions, gil, gold or otherwise will just make you look bad.
5. Spoilers!
Please use a spoiler tag in the title of your post for things such as FFXIV / video game plot lines, books, TV shows, movies, etc.
6. Ban evasion.
If I catch anybody with fake accounts/ troll accounts to avoid an already impending ban, they will be perma banned via IP. I usually will not ban someone for more than 2 weeks maximum, unless that particular member is extremely problematic. Please, for your own sake, just wait out the ban time.
7. If you think a mod is abusing his/her power, let me know.
Please don't complain about it on the forums, take it up with me directly via PM and I'll see what I can do.
8. Remember to post in the correct forum.
Take your time to look at other topics and see where your topic should go. You won't get warned/banned if it's done by accident, but if it's being obviously done to annoy others there will be repercussions.
9. Tolerance is key.
People's opinions are valid based on knowledge, not forum post count, join dates or age.
Follow these guidelines, and everything will be dandy.
